Architectural Designer
Full-time | Portland, OR
Job Description:
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our Portland ADU team. In this role, you'll design beautiful, functional ADUs that comply with Portland's building codes and zoning requirements while exceeding client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative ADU designs tailored to client needs and site constraints
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications for permitting
- Collaborate with contractors and engineers to ensure constructability
- Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback
- Stay current on Portland's ADU regulations and building code requirements
- Conduct site visits and existing condition assessments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- 2+ years of residential design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of Oregon building codes and Portland zoning regulations
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating residential projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Software Engineer
Full-time | Portland, OR (Remote Possible)
Job Description:
Join our technology team as a Software Engineer to develop innovative digital tools that streamline the ADU design, permitting, and construction process. You'll help build and improve our customer-facing and internal applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications for ADU cost estimation and design
- Create tools to automate aspects of the permitting and construction process
- Implement secure user authentication and data management systems
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user experiences
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and agile development processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of full-stack web development experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and modern web frameworks
- Experience with database design and management

Customer Success Specialist

Job Description:
As our Customer Success Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for Portland homeowners throughout their ADU journey. Your role is to ensure clients have an exceptional experience from initial consultation through project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Guide clients through the ADU process, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Coordinate between clients, designers, and construction teams
- Manage project timelines and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Track client satisfaction and proactively resolve issues
- Lead initial consultations and property assessments
- Maintain thorough documentation in our CRM system
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or project management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset and positive attitude
- Familiarity with residential construction or real estate is a plus
